The Journal of Spatial Science is seeking reviewers for each (or both)
of two biographies of the French Pacific explorers Louis de Bougainville
and Jean-Francois de La Perouse, both written by John Dunmore of Massey
University and published by Uni Alaska Press.

La Perouse mapped the coasts of California, Alaska, Siberia, and
disappeared en route from Sydney to the Solomons.

Bougainville was involved in the American Revolution, the fall of French
Canada, became one of Napoleon's senators, as well as circumnavigating
the globe 1766-69
