And for something very much related to this interesting post, you may
want to take a look at an article published in the latest issue of the
/Journal of Map & Geography Libraries/ written by Marco Petrella, titled
"Guillaume Delisle's /Carte  du Duche de Bourgogne/: the Role of Central
and Peripheral Authorities in the Construction of a Provincial Territory
in France in the Early 18th Century." It is in Vol. 5, No. 1, Jan. -
