The Journal of Maps is pleased to announce that it's application has  been accepted (pending technical evaluation of the journal's electronic format) for inclusion in the following Thomson Reuters products beginning with volume 1, 2005:

Science Citation Index-Expanded (SCIE) including the Web of Science
ISI Alerting Service
Social Sciences Citation Index (SSCI)
Current Contents/Physical, Chemical & Earth Sciences (CC/PC&ES)
Current Contents/Social & Behavioral Sciences

Indexing is scheduled for later in 2009. This is an important step for the journal and remained a high priority in our development. Not only does it show the establishment of the journal internationally, but also significantly increases our exposure to researchers across the world. For organisations that require citation listing, authors will now be able to submit manuscripts for publication.
