     Co-sponsored by Autographics, CIS, Magert, Marcive and Readex, this
     year's Annual GODORT Reception will take place on Sunday, July 7 from
     5:00pm to 7:00pm in the Ben Snow dining room, at New York University's
     E.H.Bobst Library.
     During the reception winners will be announced for the following
     awards:
     James Bennett Childs Award
     CIS/GODORT/ALA Documents to the People Award
     Readex/GODORT/ALA Catharine J. Reynolds Award
     David Rozkuska Scholarship
 
     The Ben Snow dining room is on the 10th floor of the Bobst Library and
     here are directions on how to get there:
 
     BY SUBWAY
     Lexington Avenue (IRT) no.6 local to Astor Place. Walk west on Astor
     Place to Broadway, then south on Broadway to Washington Place, and
     west on Washington Place to Washington Square.
 
     Broadway (BMT) N or R local to 8th Street Station. Walk south on
     Broadway to Washington Place, then west on Washington Place to
     Washington Square.
 
     Sixth Avenue (IND) B, D, F or Q; or Eight Avenue (IND) A, C or E local
     or express to West 4th Street-Washington Square. Walk east on West 4th
     Street or Waverly Place to Washington Square.
 
     Seventh Avenue (IRT) no. 1 or 9 local to Christopher Street-Sheridan
     Square Station. Walk east on West 4th Street to Washington Square.
 
     BY BUS
 
     Fifth Avenue bus, no. 2, 3 and 5 to 8th Street and University Place.
     Walk south on University Place to Washington Square.
 
     Broadway bus, no. 1 and 6, to Washington Place. Walk west on
     Washington Place to Washington Square.
 
     8th Street crosstown bus, no.8, to University Place. Walk south to
     Washington Square.
 
 
     Tips on bus riding:
     Buses usually stop every two or three blocks on north-south streets
     and every block on crosstown streets. Bus stops are marked by a red,
     white, and blue sign on a pole and a yellow-painted curb.
     "Guide-a-Ride" maps/schedules are also posted at most bus stops.
 
     Fare information:
     The subway and bus fare is $ 1.50. Tokens may be used for subway and
     bus fares and purchased at all subway stations. Token booth clerks do
     not accept bills larger than a $20.00 bill or pennies. In addition to
     tokens being accepted on buses, exact change may also be used. No
     bills, no penies, no Susan B.Anthony dollars, and no half dollars.

     and subway travel, 6am-9pm.
