Is anybody aware of a union list of freely accessible, web-based map
catalogues, or a general listing of such that distinguishes the
password-controlled catalogues from those that are generally accessible?

My particular interest would be in a subset of those, featuring the ones
that include non-current maps, but I am sure that would be asking too much.

I am certainly aware of David Allen's article, and list that and other
related links on the 'Map Collections' page of the Map History site <
http://www.maphistory.info/collections.html >.

Thank you for any thoughts you might have, including further relevant links
that might be added to that page.

As I am not a member of this list I would be grateful if any replies are
sent/copied to me personally.
