The Chicago Conference on the Future of the Depository
Library Program was held on October 29-31.  The conference
report is currently being edited.  A final version will be
distributed to Maps-l, Govdoc-l and other interested groups
around November 15th.
 
Although the report will be general, discussions in the
conference workgroups were very specific.  Depository
cartographic information was discussed in several groups.
 
Thanks to everyone who supplied comments and ideas.
