I would like to invite you to take a virtual tour of the James Cook Exhibition now on display in the Duggan Library at Hanover College. Please go to http://library.hanover.edu/cook. The Cook website will not only give you an opportunity to learn more about James Cook and the "Age of Sail," but it will give you an in-depth introduction to a number of important events here at the College over the next month. The events will include speakers, a lu'au, tattoos, and a winetasting.

The exhibition was augmented by the generous loans of artifacts from the Australian National Maritime Museum, the Rhode Island Historical Preservation and Heritage Commission, and the Science Center at Hanover College.

The first event is this Sunday (Sept. 9) at 4PM. Drs. Uschi Appelt and Darrin Rubino will talk on the second floor of the Library.

With apologies for cross posting.

All the best,

Douglas

P.S. Please report any problems with the website to [log in to unmask]<mailto:[log in to unmask]>.
