ANNOUNCING H-HISTGEOG: H-Net Network on Historical Geography

Sponsored by H-Net, Humanities & Social Sciences On-line, Michigan
State University

ABOUT H-HISTGEOG

The H-HISTGEOG network is a forum for geographers, historians, and all
others who have an interest in the intricate relationship between space
and time. We encourage an open discussion on a wide range of material
related to this intersection between geography and history. Issues that
deal with any place, scale, or historical period are potential topics for
discourse. Our overall aim is to be an open, yet quality medium for
furthering substantive inquiry within the rich field of historical
geography among a growing number of scholars.

H-HISTGEOG is edited by Sam Otterstrom, Brigham Young University
<[log in to unmask]>
It is advised by a board of scholars.

Like all H-Net lists, H- is moderated to edit out material that,
in the editors' opinion, is not germane to the list, involves technical
matters
(such as subscription management requests), is inflammatory, or violates
evolving, yet common, standards of Internet etiquette. H-Net's procedure
for resolving disputes over list editorial practices is Article II,
Section 2.20
of our bylaws, located at:

http://www2.h-net.msu.edu/about/by-laws.html

Logs and more information can also be found at the H-Net Web Site,
located at:

http://www2.h-net.msu.edu/~histgeog/

To join H-HISTGEOG, please send a message from the account where you
wish to
receive mail, to:
