Park City, Utah, USA


TOPICS:
Emerging topics and basic research findings across all sectors of
geographic information science. The conference attracts leading
GIScience researchers from all fields to reflect the interdisciplinary
breadth of GIScience, including cognitive science, computer science,
engineering, geography, information science, mathematics, philosophy,
psychology, social science, and statistics.
As GIScience focuses on advances in the fundamentals of Geographic
Information Science, submission of GIS application papers is
discouraged.

PUBLICATION:
         LNCS: Springer Lecture Notes in Computer Science.

MODALITIES:
         Full papers or extended abstracts (presentation/poster).

DEADLINES:
         Full papers due February 29, 2008 (upload at
http://www.giscience.org)
         Paper notification April 28, 2008
         Extended abstracts due May 30, 2008
         Abstract notification July 11, 2008
