I wanted to share with my friends in the map community of the passing of Cesar
Chavez, president and founder of the United Farm Workers organization.  Many
of you may remember his work with the farmworkers in California and the
southwest and especially the Grape and Lettuce Boycotts.  I know that he would
want the grape and lettuce boycotts to continue until farmworkers received
their share of fair pay and humane treatment.  The cause has lost a great
leader.
