Hi, all -

Having reviewed the LISTSERV Archive,
I find that the topic of locking map cases comes up periodically so
I'm just refreshing the list and soliciting opinions/feedback on the products
as we are planning the renovation of a space to house some of our maps:

I find that current options for retrofitting a lock for maps cases include:

[Major Manufacturing] -- http://www.majormfg.com/c-5-file-cabinet-locking-bars.aspx
( infosheet for MM and Abus-- http://www.aielloslocksmiths.com/resources/pdf/product_search/file_cabinet_bars.pdf )

[Abus] -- https://www.abus.com/us/Commercial-Security/File-Cabinet-Bars/File-Bars
( infosheet for MM and Abus-- http://www.aielloslocksmiths.com/resources/pdf/product_search/file_cabinet_bars.pdf )
  ( installation -- http://www.filelockingbar.com/ )

[Ilco - can't find their website] -- http://www.mrlock.com/ilco-file-cabinet-locking-bar/ilco-file-bar-5dr-with-simplex-black-fg15b

[Mayline - proprietary] -- https://www.mayline.com/product-detail.php?id=P1197

Am I overlooking something wonderful and/or have any of these products proven to be disastrous?
Have you any other insightful observations on moving to a locked-cases service model?

Thanks for your thoughts.

Kind regards,

Kevin
