PRINTING OF MAP COLOUR SEGMENTS RECEIVED THROUGH INTERNET DIRECTLY FROM
COMPUTER SCREEN
 
For some internet users, our permanent readers, as they advise, is very
important to have at least the colour segments of maps. The opinion was
formed that, to print colour images from computer screen is very expensive
and the quality is not very good. We do not agree with this.  To hundred's
of our customers, we have sent the samples of map descriptions with colour
segments by regular mail. All these pages are  printed  on regular
inexpensive paper.  The quality is good enough. As an experiment we have
printed on the colour printer Epson 1500 illustrated descriptions of maps
without changing  the toner. As a result of this experiment, the cost of one
colour copy is a little bit more than cost of printing on a black/white
laser printer.  The quality of text is the same as using a laser printer. <P>
