Hello All,

For those of you who are interested, there is an interesting
column titled "Mapping & Engineering the War" which was written by WWII
correspondent Ernie Pyle on the Indiana University School of Journalism
Web site:
http://www.journalism.indiana.edu/news/erniepyle/engineering.html. It
talks about the cartographic preparations for the invasion of Sicily.
This is another view of AMS history. Linda Zellmer
