Vielen,

The LC Geography & Map Division has perhaps the largest collection of these
raised relief maps (some call them "models") in the world so I wouldn't be
surprised that a large portion of them have been cataloged by LC and the
records available on OCLC. I have seen on occasion copy from other
institutions as well. I'd say it would be worth your time to investigate
further the quantity and quality of records for these maps in WorldCat.
Please share your results here on MAPS-L if you decide to pursue.

Sincerely,

Paige
