Subject: The center of ___: a new addition

The Wall Street Journal of Wed., July 14, 2004 has a contribution to
the literature of 'where is the center of ___.' The front page column
3 article titled "Journey to the Center of Europe Involves Many a
Wrong Turn" is quite entertaining and offers an interesting comparison
not only of competing claims to "centerness" but also of the breadth
of entities there are to be Center of. Some folk really take this
stuff seriously.
