Our Special Collections folks are getting ready to do some sort of fund
drive to preserve some early 20th century Seattle atlases published by a
company named G. William Baist Survey Company. The titles of these things
are: Baist's Real Estate Atlas, Surveys of Seattle, Wash., compiled from
official records, private plans, and actual surveys.

They've asked if we can find out anything about the company because they'd
like to include a couple of lines about the publisher in the publicity
that is being put together. I haven't been able to find anything in our
very limited resources of information on American cartography.

Can anyone help?

Many thanks!
