I heard somewhere that NIMA was running on such a reduced budget that it
is amazing that they are functioning as well as they are. I think most of
us are extremely patient (or fatalistic) with agencies which send
depository items, but I still foster an existential dream that some clear
communication (e.g. announcements, 'state of the agency' messages, etc)
might be sent to depositories, whether via the modern miracle of email or
via a viable rumor-mill! Until then, we shall wait pensively as the
mystery unfolds . . .
