For those of you who did not get a chance to see the physical exhibit,
which came down Jan. 17th, there is an online version:
http://www2.lib.virginia.edu/exhibits/onthemap/ . This contains about 70%
of the items from the physical exhibit, which represented a selected
fraction of the collection bequested by Dr. Schwartz to the university.
The digital images are high resolution and easily maneuverable. The
"reading list" at the site is actually the reference list used by the
exhibition curator, Martha Hill.
