I am not sure these are what you want, but in the Library of Congress' Map
Collections, 1500-2003, under Military Battles and Campaigns, Additional
Military Battles and Campaigns Cartographic Items, Europe/Germany,
1944-1945, there are 416 maps showing the troop positions in Europe from
June 6, 1945 to July 26, 1945.  These are maps that the High Command used
during the War.  Please look at
