Subject: Enhance Sharing Session, ALA Midwinter, 2009 January 23, Denver

OCLC will sponsor an Enhance Sharing Session at the American Library Association Midwinter Meeting in Denver, on Friday, 2009 January 23, 10:30 a.m.-12 noon in the Colorado Convention Center, Room 403.

The Enhance Sharing Session is intended to be a forum for questions and answers and for the exchange of information concerning OCLC's Enhance program. OCLC members who are current Enhance participants will find it most useful, but those who are thinking of applying for Enhance may also be interested. The Denver session will have an expanded format to discuss the results of the recent quality survey and other current activities, as well as the state of the planned "Expert Community Experiment" that is intended to increase the capabilities of Database Enrichment and of Enhance authorizations.

Questions from the floor are always welcome, but if you have specific topics you would like us to discuss, you may forward them to us at [log in to unmask] You may also e-mail me directly at [log in to unmask] if you would like to volunteer to take notes at the session.

Although advance registration for the Enhance Sharing Session is NOT required, you may register on the OCLC Web site at www.oclc.org/info/ala/ . While you are there, you may also register for many other OCLC sessions at ALA.

In addition, OCLC staff will be demonstrating and discussing many OCLC services in our Booth 1704 at the Colorado Convention Center. Please plan to visit us there, too.

Please excuse multiple postings. We look forward to seeing you in Denver.
