I attach a poster advertising a presentation on the cataloguing and
preservation of the E G R Taylor Collection of Historic Printed Maps during
2008 (funded by the Friends of Senate House Library), on Tuesday 10
February 2009, in the Seng T Lee Centre, Senate House Library, University
of London, at 5.00pm. Attendance is free, and all are welcome. If you
would like to attend please contact the Library Office, Senate House
Library, University of London, Senate House, Malet Street, London WC1E 7HU;
Tel: 020 7862 8432.

The Collection contains over 900 map sheets, representing 96 individual and
series titles dating between 1700 and 1900, and was presented to Senate
House Library by Birkbeck College, where E G R Taylor was Chair of the
Department of Geography from 1930 until 1944.

Please do feel free to forward this message to anyone who might be
interested.

Many thanks,
