Dear colleagues

The Map Curators' Group of the British Cartographic Society is pleased
to make this preliminary announcement that it will hold a map
cataloguing training event in Liverpool, England, in April 2009. This is
a repeat of the course "Map Cataloguing for the Terrified" held in
Cambridge in January 2007.

Details of the event along with booking information will be circulated
in January via the usual lists and will also be posted on the BCS
website at www.cartography.org.uk <http://www.cartography.org.uk>.
Please watch for these announcements as spaces will be limited.

The training will be conducted in English but we are happy to welcome
colleagues from other countries who may want to take advantage of
favourable exchange rates!
