Your patron (?) does not specify whether he seeks American, British,
German or whatever nationality (or language) charts.

For a European 'theater of war', other than the obvious libraries and
archives in 'the other Washington' (DC!) he could try also major and/or
specialist British map collections: The British Library (and the other 5
copyright libraries in British Isles), Imperial War Museum in London,
Royal Geographical Society-IBG in London, The National Archives in Kew,
etc., via their OPACs. Some web-sites might have images too; if not they
(including RGS-IBG) have color scanners and can send items once
carefully selected by the seeker.

Even more specificity, therefore, over geographical areas, scale, and
date parameters sought would be advisable to think on first . . .

A library patron is interested in World War II era aeronautical charts.
These could be standard charts like the World Aeronautical Chart, or
more
specialized military charts like target charts used for particular
missions.

He is interested in charts showing Europe, or parts of Europe.

Does someone have charts of this sort he could view? Online is ideal but
other options, especially where reproductions might be
acquired, are of interest.

Thank you, in advance, for any advice you can offer.
