Dear Fellow Geographers:

The 2005-06 academic year is almost here, so it is time to renew your
annual membership to the Wisconsin Geographical Society.

Membership entitles you to:
1) newsletters,
2) an updated directory of Wisconsin geographers,
3) the annual issue of the journal _Wisconsin Geographer_, and
4) news about the annual meeting.

If you haven't been a member before, please consider this the year to
join. Complete the form at the end of this email and send it to Cynthia
Berlin, address indicated.

This year's annual meeting will be September 30 - October 1, 2005 at
UW-Platteville. WGS members can read more about these plans in their
Summer 2005 newsletter. The State Coordinator, J. Elmo Rawling III, has

Please encourage students to enter the graduate and undergraduate paper
and poster competitions. Prizes have been raised to $75 each.
