My morning was considerably brightened when one of the mail staff dropped
off a box at my office which contained the 2nd edition of Cartographic
Materials.  It looks great!  Thanks to Betsy Mangan and all the members of
the committee who worked on this edition.  I expect my copy will be
well-thumbed very soon.
