Subject: Craig A-2 Quad error

Just FYI, in a new shipment of USGS topo maps (shipping list
2000-20-TQ), I noticed on the 1:63,360 Craig A-2, Alaska, quad that
Prince of Wales Island (one of the southernmost islands of Alaska) is
misspelled "Prince of Whales Island." I know that they have whales
off the Alaska coast, but I don't think they renamed this island. :)
Like most revised quads, this is one of the USGS/Forest Service
editions.

The previous edition (1951, rev. 1993) has it right.
