Just wanted to say thanks for such a great resource.  I wish more
digital map libraries followed your lead with regards to making your
maps freely available to the public.  Most digital map libraries provide
access to their maps via a browser plugin ONLY, and many try to impose
licensing restrictions that I don't even think are legal (can a library
copyright a public domain map simply by scanning it??)

I also can't think of one other digital map library that makes the
original full resolution TIFF scan available for download.
