Hi all,

Thanks for the very numerous replies about map repair tape and spray-on
waterproofing. A summary of the results:

Consensus was very definitely for "Filmoplast P90" self-adhesive paper tape
by the German company Neschen. 3/4" x 164" roll sells for about $20.

Gaylord had a selection of cloth tape with either self-stick or
water-soluble adhesive.

A third option was Archbond heat-set tissue by a British firm.

For spray waterproofing, the consensus seemed to be Map Seal:

Again, thanks for all the replies.

Cheers
Russell Guy
