Greetings from Ottawa,

The following recently received atlas, while it is not as well known (or
expensive) as the Times Comprehensive or National Geographic atlases is
of exceptional quality. It features maps combining both vivid colours
(hypsometric) and relief shading that make it superior to most world
atlases that I have seen in the past 10 years of atlas comparisons. The
way that geographic information is presented from a graphic
design standpoint is unique and quite striking. Throughout the entire
atlas every illustration and map "bleeds" off of the page using all of
the available page space similar to the style used by the National
Geographic atlas. This would be an excellent atlas for home or a family.
