For anyone, like me, curious about when they might see the Omnigraphics
publication "American Places Dictionary" edited by Frank Abate, in 5
volumes(instead of the initial 2) and for $350 (rather than the initial $140);
it is apparently to be ready by the new year. Since we originally ordered this
in June of 1992, I have called their 800 number a couple of times to get a
status report and this is the latest.
