Word!  I would go a step further:  I believe that drawers subtly warp
along with their rails over time, making every case a bit unique.
Therefore it's important for the exact same drawer to go into the exact
same slot in the exact same case.

UCSB made this mistake about 20 years ago and has been living with the
pain every since.
