The Australian Map Circle is holding its 1995 Annual Conference at the
University of New England, Armidale in New South Wales, Australia.  The theme,
"Mapping the Environment" is intended to include both historical and modern
methods.  In particular we hope to include at least one session on the impact
current Policies on access, costs and copyright are having on organisations
involved in the important task of mapping the environment.  The attached
flyer gives advance details of the conference.  If you are interested in the
conference, and particularly if you would like to offer a paper please complete

Department of Geography and Planning, University of New England, Armidale, NSW.
 
Accommodation
Accommodation will be available in Mary White College which is within walking
distance of the venue.
 
Field Excursion
A field excursion is planned to the Round Mountain CAA Radar Facility,
Cathedral Rock National Park, the Dutton Trout Hatchery and the New England
National Park.
