JOB DESCRIPTION:
 
ASI Landmark, Inc. is a leading provider of digital mapping services to
utility, municipal, government and commercial customers in domestic and
international markets. Using advanced technologies
such as photogrammetry, cadastral mapping and digital orthophotography
ASI converts paper-based maps, aerial photography and other forms of
data into a computerized format, which is then utilized
in a Geographic Information System (GIS). We are currently looking for
motivated individuals with backgrounds in the mapping industry to
join our team.
 
We are looking to fill the position of GIS Analyst. The responsibilities
of this position will include implementing
database design's in an ARC/INFO environment (including writing AML
programs as necessary), reformatting
geographic data from various software platforms, quality control of
reformatted data, and final delivery of
digital data and confirmation of plots to the client.
 
The qualified applicant will be a self-motivated, concientious
individual who can work independently
with minimal supervision. The ability to work with clients is essential.
Knowledge of digital Planimetic/Topographic mapping desirable. Must
have a minimum of 2 years of experience with ARC/INFO.
