Subject: Re: [ cataloging AMS/DMA world maps series]

Good question Heather!

In my experience it seems that map collections hold only bits and pieces
of the variety of series involved for AMS/DMS materials. What I have
seen is a few records to cover particular parts such as a record to
cover the city maps. The sheer volume of differening series, and getting
a handle on the publication cycles would make a record such as this a
real pain to create. Thus, I'll be surprised if a single record covering
the entire thing has been done, but we'll wait and see what kind of
response you receive to your question.

Sincerely,

Paige
