Dear MAPS-lers -

A colleague wants to know whether there are printed standards or
conventions
available regarding color coding in maps (e.g. blue for river, green for
forrest, etc.) and/or where to look them up on the web.
He's doing a special thematic map and his client insists that there are
certain rules he has to follow, though he thinks that some changes are
allowed in favor of readability.
Any suggestion would be greatly appreciated.

Roland
