The 23rd International Conference on the History of Cartography (ICHC2009)

This might be an appropriate time to remind those who are thinking of
presenting at the next biennial meeting (Copenhagen, 12-17 July 2009) that
the deadline for Paper and Poster Abstracts is on October 1st. This is less
than THREE WEEKS AWAY.

All the information you might need can be found on the well-organised
conference website:

     http://www.ichc2009.dk/

If relevant, please note the page on 'Travel Grants'.

For those considering attending ICHC2009, but not as a presenter - and all
will be warmly welcomed - you might like to look at two articles by Bert
Johnson. Both were originally published in the Washington Map Society's
journal, The Portolan:

An independent preview of the Copenhagen meeting

will find it as the last item)

of Cartography (ICHC)'
