I've been able to obtain funding to attend the conference "The
Map Library in Transition" in Washington.  I've made single room
reservations for Sat, 10/16 through Tues, 10/19 but will switch
this to a double if anyone needs a roommate.
 
Right now I'm at the Phoenix Park (near Union Station).  Either
that hotel or the Quality Inn, Capitol Hill are best for me since
these are "State Contract" hotels;  it's much less of a hassle
for me to deal with our budget office if I use one of them.
