The cartography is new cartography, produced by a small group of German
cartographers, under the direction of Peter Rump. The line was started
in 1999 and initially marketed as "Ray Map House - World Mapping
Project" maps. Rump then purchased (or otherwise become affiliated
with) Reise Know-how , a major German travel map and guidebook publisher
and now markets the maps through them. There are now 82 maps in the
series, with more coming nearly every month. We have just started
importing and stocking the entire line of maps.

These are detailed maps that include elevation data, either as normal
contour lines or as hypsometric elevation data. Information included on
the maps is:

     * Topography with contour lines or hypsometric contour lines
     * Roads with distances between towns/villages
     * Latitude & longitude grid
     * Water depths off the coast
     * National parks
     * Points of interest such as lighthouses, windmills, viewpoints,
       castles, airports, golf courses, caves, beaches and much more
     * Bilingual legends

Sample images are available on our web site at:
http://www.omnimap.com/catalog/new/00-dec.htm#p5

Currently we sell these at $9.95 (Euro/$ exchange rate has hit hard).
A complete listing will be on our next New Arrivals listing.

Cheers
Russell Guy
