Subject: Current Exhibit


The Harvard Map Collection is pleased to announce it current exhibit: GIS,
Art, and the Harvard Map Collection. The exhibit reveals some of the
different forms of maps produced with geographic information systems,
computers in general, and includes a world map showing geographic areas of
GIS research at the Harvard Map Collection. The emphasis focuses on new
possibilities afforded by computers and computer mapping technology.

The exhibit was curated by Martin Von Wyss, Digital Cartography Specialist,
at the Harvard Map Collection. The exhibit is on display Monday - Friday, 9
am to 5 pm through October 15, 1999.
