I am attaching the necessary forms for IFLA nominations to Standing
Committees.  Please consider joining IFLA as an institutional or
association member and then Section 6 (Geography and Map Libraries) by
Wednesday, February 2, 2005.  This can be done by fax until the close of
business at IFLA HQ.  The next nomination period is in 2007.

We have an exciting program planned with the Genealogy and Local
History Section in Oslo this August.  You can visit the many "ship"
museums, from the Vikings to Kon Tiki, and experience the natural
wonders of Norway.  Our first paper for the meeting in Seoul in 2006,
has been submitted, and plans for Durban in 2007 and Quebec City in 2008
are waiting for the new standing committee.  Come and experience first
hand the information you share every day with your patrons.

How to join IFLA as a Institutional Member

Institutional Membership fee: EUR

       Fees for Institutions are divided into three categories, based on
the country in which the Institution is situated. The categories are
determined using the UNESCO Scale of Assessment and the United Nations
list of Least Developed Countries.
