Even though I'm mostly a lurker in geography lists these day, I still
remember both these ladies helping me out with things when I was in
their respective places.  While all awards are for specific reasons
stated in some accompanying text, I really believe that they never would
have reached those plateaux (or are we talking mesas here?) without
being first-class map ladies in the first place.
 
So, again, congratulations.
