[Apologies for cross-posting: lis-maps, maps-l; liber-gdc]

Dear All,

We are searching for the "Sweet Islands" which were described in the early
17th century. Can anyone supply:
        1) a geographical location?
        2) a literature reference to the islands?

It is believed they were located close to the Tropic of Cancer (which
immediately favours The Bahamas).

Any information would be most helpful.

With best wishes,
Nick
