Subject: RE: Nautical chart question

Ms. Hines:
The NOAA "Find A Chart" seems to be working Friday AM. See http://www.charts.noaa.gov/InteractiveCatalog/nrnc.shtml in order to view, download, or order papers charts issued by NOAA.
As you change the level of detail (zoom) larger scale charts appear for desired geographic areas. This is limited, of course, to charts published by NOAA which are, effectively, limited to area along the coasts of the U.S., including Hawaii, Alaska, the Great Lakes, Chesapeake Bay, and selected harbor and approach charts

Maps-L-
I had was trying to use NOAA's /On-Line Chart Viewer /yesterday to find a nautical chart for a patron. The "interactive catalog" map index wasn't working. Is there any hard copy version of this available?
