UKRAINE, KEY MAPS, TRICKS WITH MAPS
 
A new department has been added to our homepage entitled Ukraine.  It
includes 45 maps divided into the following categories:  Atlases, City
Plans, Historical Maps, Hunting & Fishing Maps, Topographic Maps, Oblast
Topographic Maps, Political/Administrative Maps, Maps of Radiation
Contamination & Pollution, Road Maps, and Tourist Maps.  All maps have
descriptions and visual examples.
 
In the department of topographic maps there is now an opportunity to receive
a free Universal Key Map and Key Map Reader for Russian military and
civilian topographic maps.  It is also possible to receive a Universal
Decoder of Catalogue Codes.  These documents are intended for printing from
a laser printer.
 
A new department has also been added regarding all curious, amusing, and
unfortunate cases which take place during our routine work with maps.  In
this department, we will also publish critiques and complaints received by
us.  The compulsary conditions of publication are indication of: full name
of author, contact address and telephone numbers.  The article must be
somehow connected with maps, computers, the Internet, et cetera, and include
notation "Applying for Publication".  The volume of a single article must
not exceed 500 words.
