    My name is Octavian Cocos. I am a lecturer in the Geography Department
    of the University of Bucharest, Romania, where I teach Cartography. As
    the information  on this subject is rather scarce around here I have
    decided to engage myself in an effort to create a small but up to date
    library in the Cartography laboratory.  Unfortunately, I am not
    supported with proper funding and therefore I have decided to turn to
    all those who can help us. If you have any spare copies of historical
    geography or any type of cartography texts and you are willing to
