Hi,

The U.S. Joint Operations Graphic (JOG) series of Indonesia may or may
not be available in any format.

The National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency (formerly NIMA, DMA, and
AMS) distributed some of the JOG's through our federal depository
library program, with restrictions on photocopying, circulation,
etc...those restrictions STILL apply to this day. The only sheet we
received of Indonesia was NA 47-12.

There was talk of limited additional distribution of JOG's (not sure
what geographic areas) to depository libraries a number of years
ago...I'm not sure what happened, but as far as I know, we haven't seen
any through the federal depository library program.

Maybe the Cartographic Users Advisory Council (CUAC) representative for
NGA can respond with more complete info?

Another old requirement that may or may not apply was that NGA
superseded depository items (including aeronauticals and nauticals) be
returned to the agency...anyone have an update?

Good luck,
Janet Collins

Hello,
I'm an Indonesian geographer specializing in GIS. I've been looking for
the scanned joint operations graphic (ground) (JOG) and U.S. Army Map
Service (AMS) maps of Indonesia, especially those of 1:250.000 scale.
But, I haven't found them yet.
I have no idea how to find these maps in my country, since there is no
governmental agency or non-governmental organization here, that provides
these maps. So I can only rely on foreign helps in finding these maps.
I hope that someone in this mailing list can direct me to any sources
that provide the scanned JOG (ground) and AMS maps of Indonesia. I will
be very grateful for any kind of help.
