Dear Stuart,
I noted your request for info. on GIS in your library on maps-l, and would
be interested in the replies you recieve.

Here at University of Canberra, our small map collection is not high on the
grand list of priorities, and as an ordinary library technician with a love
of maps, I've inherited the de facto rank of collection caretaker. GIS are
starting to be noticed around the place, and I find myself like you, needing
some basic information.

I'd be grateful if you could pass on any info. you receive. Many thanks :-)

Beryl
