Subject: Map Staff at the Illinois State Library

Instead of taking a layoff effective June 30 after 40 years, I will be retiring and leaving the Illinois State Library in two weeks. Tom Huber, the map reference librarian for the last 10 years, will still be here. He will answer [log in to unmask] or [log in to unmask] . His phone is 217/782-5823. It’s not clear at this time whether he will be learning/doing all, or any, of the technical services duties that I did.

Best wishes to you all,

Arlyn
