           UPDATE ON BRITISH LIBRARY READING ROOM CLOSURES
 
 
     With deep regret, the British Library has just announced that
     all its reading rooms will remain closed next week, March 15-20,
     because of the continuing industrial dispute.
 
     Reader Services will provide the latest information on services
     on the Library's web site (http://www.bl.uk) and on the enquiry
     line: 0171 412 7676 (international: +44 171 412 7676).
 
     If you had been planning to use the Maps Reading Room or any of
     the other reading rooms in the period after March 22, you are
     strongly advised to check with the British Library before making
     a journey.
