Hi Janet-
Found it. It is a ppl at 27*36'S 152*56'E in Queensland West of
Brisbane, near Ellen Park just east of Goodna. Check it out on the 100K
sheet # 9442 of the Australia National Survey. Talk about meta data -
found the name in my microfiche, near to but not in Gazeteers just
marked [Australia] Master names created 4/02/83, no title page,
nothing. It is keyed to a 1:250,000 sheet series, but I have the JOG
edition and couldn't find the name on it. Thanks for the diversion. I
was in typing my take home final questions and taking a break. Great to
be able to know the answer and there to find it.

You are right - Carole Park is a suburb of Brisbane, Queensland,
Australia. Postcode is 4300, and I play golf at nearby Gailes.

by Australian Master Names Gezetteer Carole Park is a place,
Lon 27/36 Lat 152/56 in Queensland. Map Series No. for 1:250,000
is SG 56-14 and for 1:100,000 is 9442.
